Boosting Search Visibility and Strengthening a Family Law Brand for Azemika & Azemika
For more than three decades, Azemika & Azemika has served families in Bakersfield and Kern County through a practice devoted exclusively to family law. The firm handles matters including divorce, domestic partnership dissolution, child custody, visitation, child and spousal support, paternity, property division, legal separation, and parent relocation.
Led by Anthony P. Azemika, Nicholas P. Azemika, and Amanda R. Azemika, the firm brings deep local experience, strong community ties, and a focused understanding of the legal and emotional issues families face during major life transitions.
Azemika & Azemika was already a respected name in Bakersfield family law. But their website no longer reflected the strength of the firm, the depth of their experience, or the level of support they provide to clients.
They came to Conroy Creative Counsel looking for a long-term digital partner who understood law firm marketing and could modernize their web presence, improve their content foundation, and help more prospective clients find and trust the firm online.
What They Needed
Azemika & Azemika had concerns about the company previously managing their website. The site did not present the firm as professionally as it should have, and the content was not being updated often enough to support a strong search presence.
They also felt they were not getting the level of SEO support they had been promised. Once our team reviewed the existing site, it was clear that the firm needed more than a simple refresh. They needed a better structure, clearer messaging, stronger content, and a website that could support ongoing growth.
Just as importantly, they needed a partner who would make the process easy. The Azemika team needed to stay focused on practicing law, not chasing down website updates or wondering whether their marketing was being handled.
01
Goal
Modernize the Website Experience
The first priority was to create a website that immediately communicated credibility, professionalism and focus.
Family law clients are often making decisions during stressful, emotional moments. When they land on a law firm’s website, they need to quickly understand who the firm serves, what services are available, and how to take the next step.
The updated website now leads with a clear identity: “The Family Law Lawyers.” It also presents the firm around four key concerns that matter to family law clients: legal, financial, parenting, and emotional needs.
The site also makes contact information prominent, with the firm’s consultation phone number clearly visible and repeated calls to action throughout the site.
Goal
02
Build a Stronger SEO and Content Foundation
The second goal was to improve the site’s ability to perform in search engines.
Azemika & Azemika needed more than attractive design. They needed a content structure that supported the way prospective clients search for family law help in Bakersfield.
We rebuilt and organized the website around clear practice-area pages, including Family Law, Alimony/Spousal Support, Child Custody and Visitation, Child Support, Divorce, Parent Relocation, Division of Marital Property, and Legal Separation and Separation Agreements.
This gave the firm a stronger foundation for search visibility, while also making it easier for visitors to find information related to their specific situation.
Goal
03
Keep the Website Active With Ongoing Content
Search visibility is not a one-time project. For a competitive legal market, a website needs consistent, relevant content that demonstrates expertise and keeps the site active.
The updated Azemika & Azemika website now includes a dedicated News section positioned as a resource center for timely insights and practical explanations on family law issues affecting Bakersfield families. Recent topics include spousal support after retirement, prenuptial agreements, commingled property, permanent spousal support, hidden assets after divorce, pro se divorce, temporary spousal support, military divorce, and transmutation agreements.
This ongoing content strategy helps the site stay relevant while giving potential clients useful information before they ever pick up the phone.
What We Did
01
Created a Strategic Plan
We began by reviewing the firm’s existing website, identifying gaps, and clarifying what the Azemika team needed from a long-term marketing partner.
The goal was not to sell them services they did not need. It was to create a practical plan that would improve the site, support search visibility, and give the firm a more reliable digital presence.
02
Rebuilt the Website in WordPress
We redesigned the site in WordPress to give Azemika & Azemika a more flexible, professional and scalable platform.
The new website preserved the firm’s established identity while improving the overall user experience. Visitors can now quickly access the firm’s practice areas, attorney bios, testimonials, news, and contact information through a clear navigation structure.
The updated design also better reflects the firm’s reputation, experience, and exclusive focus on family law.
03
Strengthened the Firm’s Authority
The updated website gives more weight to the firm’s experience, awards, and team credentials.
The Our Firm page highlights the firm’s exclusive family law focus, decades of combined experience, recognition as Bakersfield’s Best Family Law Firm for 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
The Attorneys page also gives prospective clients a clearer picture of the people behind the firm, including Anthony P. Azemika, Nicholas P. Azemika, and Amanda R. Azemika, along with their experience, credentials, associations, and community involvement.
04
Added Ongoing Content Support
After the site rebuild, we continued supporting Azemika & Azemika with fresh content designed to match the firm’s tone, practice focus and audience.
The News section now functions as a growing resource center, helping prospective clients understand family law issues while supporting the site’s ongoing SEO strategy.
05
Made the Process Easy
Azemika & Azemika wanted a partner who would stay involved, communicate clearly, and keep their website moving forward without creating extra work for the firm.
That ongoing relationship remains central to the project.
As Azemika shared:
“Karin remains in constant contact with me about our SEO and website, which is very much appreciated. If anything, I am the one who doesn’t respond to her as fast as I should.”
— Azemika
